Big Idea: You can see a little bit of yourself in the brands you love.
Medium: Branding Context: During my time at Belk, branding projects comprised some of my major projects. I worked as the copy lead on a team that developed and pitched a rebrand for the organization. Additionally, I created brand decks for 15 of Belk's private label brands, including brand statements and ethos, as well as target segments, voice and tone, tone words, and sample headlines. Some were updates or refreshes. Others were built entirely from scratch. Every one was an adventure. |

Big Idea:
1. The holidays usher in a particularly special time -- one spent with loved ones, cherishing what life affords us every day. 2. There are so many ways you can you can show your appreciation for everyone in your life. 3. Life is beautiful thing -- and it's yours to curate however you'd like. Medium: Marketing campaigns Context: Part of my responsibilities at Belk included working with the Advance Planning team to develop marketing campaigns to inspire our customers across all channels from direct mail, TV and radio to in-store, mobile and digital. Big Idea: Giving to those in need isn't just good to do -- it also feels great for everyone involved.
Medium: Social and in-store event campaign Context: Belk partnered with Kings of Pops and local chapters of the Boys & Girls Clubs of America to benefit children in need during the back-to-school season. |
